About Ehime
Ehime Prefecture is located in Shikoku, one of the four major islands in Japan. It is surrounded by the beautiful archipelago in the Seto Inland Sea and the Shikoku Mountains, where the highest mountain in western Japan, Mt. Ishizuchi (1,982m), is located. Ehime Prefecture is blessed with beautiful nature all around. Location
Ehime Prefecture is located in the northwest of Shikoku, one of the four major islands in Japan. You can take a domestic flight to Matsuyama Airport from several major cities in Japan, then drive or ride a bus for 30 minutes to get to Matsuyama City. Or, take the Sanyo Shinkansen, get off at Okayama Station or Fukuyama Station, then transfer to a local train or bus and ride for 1-2 hours to get to Imabari City.
